Auf der Lenovo-Webseite wird das ThinkPad Edge E130 nicht in der Liste
der kompatiblen Notebooks aufgeführt. Die Software arbeitet aber ohne
Probleme. Zusammen mit ExpressCache wird auch ein Kommandozeitentool
installiert, mit dem überprüft werden kann, ob die SSD auch tatsächlich

Das
ThinkPad Edge kommt mit einer 12-monatigen Bring-In-Garantie zum
Käufer. Im Garantiefall müsste der Käufer das Notebook Lenovo
zuschicken. Das Vivobook und das Travelmate sind mit dem gleichen
Garantieumfang ausgestattet. Mit Hilfe der Seriennummer des ThinkPad
können auf der Lenovo-Webseite alle verfügbaren Garantieerweiterungen
aufgelistet werden. Viel Auswahl bietet Lenovo nicht. Eine vierjährige

Das
ThinkPad Edge bietet zwei Möglichkeiten der Maussteuerung: Per Clickpad
und per Trackpoint. Das multitouchfähige Clickpad fällt mit 3,7 x 7,4
cm arg klein aus. In der Höhe wären noch gut 1,5 cm mehr drin gewesen.
Allerdings wird dieser Platz von den Maustasten des Touchsticks belegt.
Die angerauhte Oberfläche behindert die Finger nicht beim Gleiten. Die
einzelnen Multitouchgesten können individuell im Konfigurationsmenü ein-

Testgerät wird von einem Intel Core i3-3227U-Zweikernprozessor
befeuert. Die CPU entstammt der Ivy-Bridge-Prozessorgeneration und

nicht. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen ULV-Prozessor. Dieser wird mit
einer niedrigen Spannung betrieben, wodurch der Energieverbrauch gering

Die Cinebench-Tests bearbeitet das E130 mit voller Geschwindigkeit (1,9 GHz). Dass es alle CPU-Tests für sich entscheidet, überrascht nicht. Schließlich steckt im ThinkPad Edge die stärkste CPU. Der Abstand zum Vivobook fällt größer aus, als es der geringe Unterschied in der Taktfrequenz (1,9 zu 1,8 Ghz) vermuten lässt. System arbeitet schnell und flüssig. Gelegentlich dauert es aber ein
bischen zu lange, bis das System auf einen Mausklick - beispielsweise
